Dr. Whitsett has developed numerous, longstanding relationships with professional and well-trusted optometrists. Through these relationships a co-management process has emerged allowing Dr. Whitsett to work with these doctors and their patients. In co-management, a prospective LASIK patient may have his or her complimentary exam in the convenience of the optometrist's office. Once a consultation has been performed along with a dilated eye exam, a patient will then be refered to meet with Dr. Whitsett for additional testing and measurements.

Your optometrist and Dr. Whitsett will work as a team to help guide you through this process. Dr. Whitsett will perform your surgery on a day that is convenient for you. Often times the co-managing doctor will attend the day of the procedure.
