Jeffrey C. Whitsett, M.D., one of Houston’s most experienced LASIK surgeons, has announced the establishment of a second office in Katy and a new associate, Brian D. Wright, M.D., to serve as its medical director.

The Whitsett Vision Group will be a part of Katy for many years to come.

“Many of our patients have been asking for a Whitsett Vision Group location closer to home in Katy. We listened, and have responded with our first satellite office,” says Dr. Whitsett.

The Whitsett Vision Group’s state-of-the-art refractive surgery center at the Memorial/Spring Branch office on Campbell Rd. will be used to perform all LASIK surgery; our Katy, TX office will provide comprehensive consultations and exams by an experienced eye surgeon to determine LASIK candidacy. More sophisticated surgeries requiring anesthesia (such as ReSTOR®/TECNIS® multifocal and cataracts) will occur at a hospital-based outpatient surgery center in the Katy area.
